Supermarkets

Supermarkets hold just under 25% market share and, together with convenience stores, account for ~50% of Taiwan’s modern grocery retail. The segment is still growing (+3%)

Stores are regular-sized, city-focused, with strong fresh produce, meat, and everyday assortments — adapted to dense urban life

PX Mart excels at end caps, creating some of the best-executed themed displays worldwide

Carrefour

With ~70 stores19% share, and ~US$1.5B sales, Carrefour is the #1 hypermarket operator
