Kanahei’s Small Animals was originally one of the most immersive and playful themed convenience store experiences in Taipei. The colorful seating area, vibrant wall decoration, and carefully designed visual elements made it one of the most enjoyable stores to visit
During our latest check, much of the original themed setup was removed, making the experience far less immersive than before
If you’re looking for the complete Kanahei-themed experience, the Kaohsiung location still delivers the full execution and is the one we would recommend today

Coca-Cola remains one of the most visually striking branded concepts, even though the store is now closed. We’ve kept it in this list because the iconic storefront design alone made it worth documenting.
Inside, the core convenience store area was solid but not exceptional. What truly stood out was the large rest area, designed almost like a small Coca-Cola museum, celebrating the brand’s heritage and visual identity

Maserati
The Maserati-themed 7-Eleven is located in Neihu, completely outside the main themed-store cluster. What makes it interesting is the clearly separated universe created inside the store.
On one side, you step into the full Maserati world, with dedicated flooring, bold wall decoration, and automotive-inspired design elements. On the other, the classic convenience store area continues as usual — creating a sharp contrast between luxury branding and everyday retail.
It’s an intriguing concept to see in person, but since it’s quite far from the city center, the photos and video below provide a very good overview of the experience.
